Never a camera when you need one
Here we have a picture of my son looking cute and reasonably clean. Well this is not the picture that I should be posting with this entry.
Yesterday, at the Early Years Centre, William ate all the snacks I brought with me and was loudly proclaiming his need for "cah-cah!" (cracker). So as we were leaving, one of the other Moms offered us a package of Dunkaroos.
For those of you aren't familiar with them, Dunkaroos are one of those high-sugar, high-packaging lunchables that we all secretly love. It consists of tiny cookies, with a thimble of chocolate icing to dip them in (you know, because cookies aren't nearly sugary enough on their own). I opened the package and handed the entire thing to my son. He dove into the icing head first.
Within minutes William had a full beard of dark brown icing stretched from the bottom of his chin to the top of his nose and completely covering both cheeks. We were browsing the mall together and several people stopped to smile at us and make comments like "Looks like he's enjoying that" and "You're wearing your treat". A clerk even laughed out loud.
Of course I didn't have my camera with me, so you just have to imagine it.

If he only knew how much of it he actually wasted, he'd be so sad. Maybe you need a cell phone camera.
Z: That would require a cell phone
